This fantastic Black Baseball / Negro Team Photo, 5-1/2” by 3-1/4”, mounted to its original, 7-3/8” by 5-1/8” mount. It pictures nine members of this turn of the century Negro Baseball Team in matching full uniform along with their manager who wears a sweater. They appear to have posed for this team picture on a baseball field and there are various pieces of period baseball equipment including a striped top baseball very early gloves. The players are adult males and wear high quality matching uniforms and caps and quality "baseball" shoes. This is most definitely an organized and likely professional team, which unfortunately is not identified. This wonderful Negro League Baseball Team Photograph is in excellent condition. Both the Photograph and the card mount are clean and crisp and exceptionally well preserved with no soiling, staining or edge wear. The Photograph exhibits sharp focus and good contrast and tonality although it is a bit over exposed.
