A great printed war-date Confederate Printer's Poem on typical brown Southern adversity paper depicting a the Stars and Bars floating over a firing cannon, approximately 2 1/2" x 3 1/4", printed by W. & J. Bonitz, Goldsboro, N. C., reading, in part: "Bright Banner of Freedom wide pride I unfurl thee; Fair Flag of my country with love I behold thee…Emblem of Liberty, Symbol of truth…O'er the Southerner's Home and the Southerner's Grave…".
