“Inspection of Mcguirk’s, Ashcroft’s and Lorry’s Regiment, October 31st, 1864. Gholson’s Brigade,” 2pp., light blue paper, VG. The muster provides names, and four columns of description relating to each of the regiments. Of interest is the high number of “absent without leave.” For McGuirk’s regiment, the Third Mississippi Cavalry, the absent without leave was 221 of 718 on the roll.
