CDV of Union General Winfield Scott, Very Fine. 4" x 2.5," nice, square corners, Chas. D. Fredericks & Co. backstamp, with an explanatory paragraph extolling this as "...the best portrait of the Great American Military Chieftain." This "chest shot" was taken of Scott in 1862 and shows his wizened head and the stern visage of a war-hardened General.
