It includes, an Autograph Letter Signed “Schuyler Colfax”, 1pp., July 12, 1872, in small part, “I cannot resist the inclination to tell you how delighted I am at your election to the Erie (RR) Presidency ...” ... plus, ALS cambridge, July 25, 1870 to Watson “I have the honor to inform you that you were elected an honorary member Phi Beta Kappa Fraterinty ...” ... plus, A three page typed recollection by Charles Dana “Reminiscences of Abraham Lincoln” with a hand written note to Watson. Included in this lot are many other emphemra pieces to include, a Printed Auction Catalog of the Library of Peter Watson, several invitations, and a number of Paper clippings.
