Fine carte-de-visite photograph of UNION GENERAL GOUVERNEUR WARREN. Chest up view in uniform as a Major General. Very sharp CDV image published after the War from a wartime negative, mounted on heavy gray cardstock, no backmark. Image and mount in exceptionally fine condition. Warren is probably best remembered for his conduct in the defense of Little Round Top on the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg.
