c. 1864 Presidential Campaign, "Beardless" Abraham Lincoln Silk Ribbon, Large Lincoln Bust Image, beardless, with text above "For President, ABRAHAM LINCOLN" and below "For Vice President, ANDREW JOHNSON," Very Fine. This impressive 3" x 7" original Presidential Campaign Silk Ribbon from 1864 features the standard Beardless Portrait of Abraham Lincoln, and promotes the Ticket of Lincoln & Johnson. The addition of a purple pattern flanking the design and purple piping along the edges elevates this Silk Ribbon to a much higher rarity level. There are some minor pulls through Lincoln's chin, pulls near the top and general wear from actual use. There are no separations or repairs. Overall, this "Beardless" Abraham Lincoln Silk Ribbon displays quite nicely.
