Albumen photograph of Abraham Lincoln and his son Tad. Taken by Alexander Gardner on February 5, 1865, published by G.F. Bouve, Boston. The top mount tipped into a 10" x 12" matt, with the albumen measuring a substancial 6 ¼" x 8 ¼". On the mount it reads "President Lincoln And His Son Thaddeus. The Last Photograph The President Sat For". The image is in fine condition, having typical light tonality associated with this photograph. A fine image, and scarce in this larger format. Would make a nice presentation framed.
