Collection of 69 stamped postal covers commemorating U.S. Navy ships and submarines, 1936-1975. Two illustrated covers, from 1936 and 1939, respectively honor the U.S.S. Henderson and the U.S.S. Wilson. The bulk of the material, however, dates to the Viet Nam era and most often carries a hand-stamped logo of the featured ship. Approximately half of the covers are autographed by commanding officers....plus; Three shoulder patches; 2 for the U.S.S. Ranger and one for the U.S.S. Mariano G. Vallejo....plus; "Welcome" booklets for the U.S.S Will Rogers, Epperson and Marian G. Vallejo. Average condition of all items is VF.
