Booklet, “Reach Official Basket Ball Guide, 192-1913”, A.J. Reach Company, Philadelphia, 256 pp., plus separate cover, cover has minor abrasions, interior VG. This early basketball guide is highly illustrated with team photographs. One of the most interesting is the Newburgh Team in the Hudson River League. This team had a large number of Jewish players including league-leading scorer Ira Streusand, Bill CohenJake Fuller, Barney Sedran (Hall of Famer) and Marty Friedman (Hall of Famer). The team was nicknamed the Busy Izzies.
