Civil War Brass Pinback With Gem Tintype of Stonewall Jackson. The case is 1-3/16" x 1-1/8"; the tintype is 13/16" x 5/8". Possibly a memorial pinback, the pin being absent. A head-and-shoulders portrait of a man we believe to be Stonewall Jackson who was mortally wounded by his own men at Chancellorsville on May 2, 1863 and died eight days later. Vice nice condition except for a couple of imperfections in the glass
