James Monroe Indian Peace Medal. Large Size. 76 mm. Struck in Bronze at the United States Mint in Philadelphia, 1816, Fine. This impressive original James Monroe Indian Peace Medal displays nice and reflective natural golden-brown surfaces with very pleasing, even bronzing. The sharp details display its high quality of grade and is nicely preserved overall. There are just a few tiny scattered specks noted upon the obverse with trivial marks and specks on the reverse. Struck from the original obverse and reverse dies and is a lovely medal for display.
