FORD, Gerald (b. 1913) Thirty-eighth President 1974-77, distinguished Member of the House 1949-73, appointed Vice President following the resignation of Spiro Agnew, and became President in August, 1974 following President Nixon's resignation. Signed Document “Gerald R. Ford”, on a Xerox copy of the four page speech delivered by former President Ford upon the occasion of July 19, 1990, the Nixon Library Dedication. The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum is the presidential library and final resting place of Richard Milhous Nixon, the 37th President of the United States. Located in Yorba Linda, California.
