Soft cover novels, from Great Western Library, published by Street and Smith, each written by Col. Prentiss Ingraham, each appr 320 pp., all with color covers showing an action illustration of Buffalo Bill, pulpy paper, c1902, VG. All the titles have Buffalo Bill in them, such as, “Buffalo Bill Panther Fighter”, “Buffalo Bill’s Black Fortune”, “Buffalo Bill’s Yellow Trail” ..... Colonel Prentiss Ingraham (1843-1904) was a Colonel in the Confederate Army, a professional military officer throughout the 1860s and a fiction writer.
