Plantaion Whip, 47” braided leather “snap whip” attached to a 12” wooden handle. This piece comes with a letter of provenance from a Slave Relic Museum Curator ho states in part, “The enclosed slave whip was used on a plantation to punish enslaved Africans ....” the statement is signed and dated 2014.
