Album containing over 200 photographs of an African American family. The album, c. 1917, measures 7" X 12", fine. Images include family outings, children playing outside, men in uniform who most probably served in World War One, boating and sports scenes, animal scenes, etc. All in fine condition, save for one page having some damage due to some images being removed. The family looks very happy in the photographs. Images range in size from 1 3/4" X 2 3/4 to 3 1/2" X 4 1/2". A wonderful assemblage of photographs take on the brink of world war.
