FRY, Birkett, (1822-1891), Fry suffered several wounds during the Civil War during the battles of Seven Pines, Antietam, and Gettysburg. A rare Confederate document. Document Signed Twice "B D Fry Brig Genl." One page, 13" x 9.5", November 4, 1864. Fry signs this "Requisition for Clothing" once to certify that various articles of clothing (socks, hats, caps, etc.) are "absolutely requisite." He signs again as commander of the post.
