Pair of cabinet card images. First image is General Daniel Ullman. POW at Libby Prison, raised black troops in Louisiana, unit being named "Corps d' Afrique", fine. The second image is General John M. Mayer, which is signed with rank and date of 1869. Thayer saw action at Chickasaw Bayou, Fort Hindman, and Vicksburg. A fine signed cabinet card.
