Civil War Period Cartridge Box, heavy leather in very good condition, 8” x 7” x 2-1/2.” The scalloped over flap lacks closing strap, yet the 3-1/2” oval “US” emblem is present with no mars or scratches. Both interior boxes are present, both interior flaps are fine, lacks one strap buckle. Often these boxes are dry. Not so this one.
