South Carolina Palmetto regimental flag, 27”x34”, hand sewn cotton bunting, on five panels of blue muslin fabric, with red “55” atop of a palmetto tree with “SC” at its side. c. 1900 . Some wear, else VG. Not much is known about this flag other than it came from a Connecticut Institution.
