Color Printed poster, U*S*A Bonds, Third Liberty Loan Campaign, Boy Scouts of America, Weapons for Liberty,” 20” x 30,”, with artwork by J.C. Leyendecker (signed in the plate, and printed by American Lithographic Co. N.Y., 1917, presented behind shrink wrat against cardboard, VG. The dramatic image shows Lady Liberty with the American shield, reaching for her sword which a Boy Scout is holding. The sword Inscribed, "Be prepared." Over $352 million of war bonds were sold by Scouts along with $101 million War Saving Stamps.
