Black and white photograph, 4”x5”, autographed by Mike Kowato, who is shown standing in front of his WWII Zero. Signed with Japanese characters and with name in English “Mike Kowato.” Fine. Kowato is reported to have shot down “Black Sheep Squadron” leader Pappy Boyington, USMC. Kowato died in 2001 in Seattle, Wash.
