Lot of 17 Civil War relics and one catalog as follows: Musket ball in an envelope inscribed, "I picked up this .58 caliber bullet at Gettysburg on the field of the first day's battle, while attending the 75th reunion (the final one) of the blue and the gray. This was July 1, 1938, exactly 75 years to the day after this bullet was fired. It had rained the day before, and it had been washed up. Alton Ketchum."...Plus; 2 Confederate Gardner bullets...Plus; Bullet in wood, 2" x 4". Although the bullet within is not exposed, the weight of this small piece of wood indicates its presence...Plus; .54 caliber minie ball...Plus; 3 carved minie balls...Plus; One "chewed" minie ball...Plus; 2 bullets in a bag labeled "Gettysburg"...Plus; .54 Sharps carbine bullet...Plus; one fired .69 caliber minie ball...Plus; one .69 caliber round ball...Plus; one pulled minie ball...Plus; An "eagle A" coat button with a tag stating it is from Petersburg...Plus; Brass bell, 1 1/4" x 1 1/2", ca. 1860's. This small bell has a tag reading, "Confederate alarm bell found in Fort Clifton camp on the Appomattox River"...Plus; Catalog, REBEL RELICS, 44 pages, octavo, 1975. Ah, those were the days!
