Hotchkiss" (1842-1929), Civil War Veteran, on his personal stationary, 1 page, 11" x 8.5", no date, Very Fine. Letter to a John G. Boos, where he writes ... "It was my priviledge to greet President Elect Lincoln in 1861 when he was en route to Washington for the inauguration March 4th - This was in New York City".... Statement is written in bold dark brown ink, one small pen tear in "My dear Sir".
