George Bancroft of New York on February 12, 1866 in the House of Representatives, Washington, DC: Government Printing Office, original cloth hardbound cover, decoratively lettered in gilt, 69 pages, 9" x 6", Very Fine. Sabin 3132. Frontispiece features a Treasury Department engraving of Lincoln. Foxing on pages throughout. Minor soiling and wear to covers, strong binding. Bookplate, and pencil notation by a previous owner: "Thos. J. Field / Milwaukee / Nov. 26th 1866."
