Autograph Letter Signed, “D Porter” 1p. quarto, New Orleans, February 12, 1810, with integral leaf addressed to Honorable Paul Hamilton, Secretary of Navy, with New Orleans postmark, the letter reads “I have the honour to advise that I have this day drawn on you in favour of S. Hambleton, payble at sight, a set of Exchange for 2, 768 65/100 Dollars on account of Repairs of Vessels - which I hope will be duly honoured...” VG....plus; Engraving, 1p. quarto, of Porter. Fine.
