In part, “Many of my men are barefoot and almost naked and I want to empty the wagon as soon as possible for their purposes of transportation. The whiskey will be run tonight & ready for use - we will have a frolic tomorrow night. .. Come up this evening, keep this to yourself.” Docketed, “Lt. Col. JL Henry.”
