Confederate imprint “Message of the President”6pp. octavo, House of Representatives, January 10, 1865, where Jeff Davis transmits “communications, which furnish the information desired relative to the ‘commissioned officers attached to and employed in the different Departments and Bureaux in the city of Richmond.’”...with list that includes the heads of the “Office of Foreign Supplies” and “Army Intelligence Office” amongst others. Includes response back from Mallory, Judah Benjamin and Seddon. “Rebel Archives” stamp, else fine condition.
