This 1866 SOUTH CAROLINA RAILROAD COMPANY at Charleston, SC bond or certificate of indebtedness measures 9 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches with a face value of $87.50. It has a South Carolina Railway Seal at bottom left with a 5 cent exchange internal revenue stamp in the center. It was signed by W. I. Magrath as Pres. it is in nice condition with a little age staining on the borders and four small round holes along the signatures indicating it was redeemed.
