Complete original issues of Frank Leslies Illustrated Newspaper issued over 1863 and 1864. Each issue contains 16 pages and is profusely illustrated with woodcut illustrations. The paper measures 12 by 16 inches. A number of issues in this grouping are uncut. Leslies issues are much scarcer than those of Harpers Weekly, their major rival and competitor.
