c. 1850, Leather-covered Military Style Flask Canteen, Fine. 9" high, dark green mold blown flask with tooled lip, covered in hand-sewn brown leather with original cork stopper with tin cap. Some damage to leather cover at bottom, and suspension strap is missing. A hard-to-find canteen type, as most were broken during use in the field. Very rare!
