Lot of 53 steel engravings, all octavo, ca. 1860's, many by Johnson, Fry & Co., New York. Notable American warriors from the Revolutionary through Mexican Wars are the subject of this collection. Personalities included are Joshua Barney, Stephen Decatur, Richard Henry Lee, Thomas Pinckney, and Winfield Scott. There is some duplication. These are fine engravings suitable for framing. Light aging, else VF condition.
