A good war-date printed Northern penny song sheet with a multi-color lithograph of the battle of Charleston Harbor when a fleet of U. S. Navy monitors attacked Fort Sumter on Sept. 7, 1863, ca. 1863, 1p. 8vo., entitled: "The Army and Navy for ever", published by Charles Magnus, NYC and printed in multi-colors, reading, in small part: "Let sailors and soldiers unite in this cause bound together by honor and loyalty's band…the sailor who ploughs on the watery main…and the soldier who firmly stands out a campaign…their cause is but one…and from fore-tack or musket he never will waver…when the frays o'e with his lass on the shore drinks-the army and navy of Columbia for ever."
