Civil War Document being a “Registry of Citizens who have taken the Amnesty Oath” Beaver Dam, Virginia, June 8, 1865, listing twenty-seven (27) men of the area, and is signed by William Nixon, [WIA at Fort Wagner] Captain and Assistant Provost Marshal of Hanover County, Virginia, as well as by Captain Charles L. Stevens, [WIA at Fort Wagner] 67th Ohio Vols, and Provost Marshal. Fine condition....plus: Autograph Letter Signed by Captain William Nixon [WIA Fort Wagner] 1pp. oblong octavo, Beaver Dam, Virginia, June 9, 1865, advising Captain Stevens that one additional name had been added to the above list.
