Pocket Map, with imprinted boards, “MITCHELL’S Map of VIRGINIA” 3-1/5” x 5”, containing a hand-tinted Virginia map, 16’ x 13-1/2”, published by ThomasCowperthwait, 1851, Pennsylvania. very unusual condition in that there is only very minor fold breaks, no edge tears, near fine. The map prints rairoad schedules and steamship schedules, as well as the obvious county, city town locations.
