Book, “NELSON'S PICTORIAL GUIDE BOOKS. THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD: A TRIP ACROSS THE NORTH AMERICAN CONTINENT FROM OMAHA TO OGDEN,” New York, 1871, 46pp., plus 12 color printed plates, original publisher's cloth, stamped in black and gilt. Front inner hinge cracked but solid. Extremities lightly worn. Very minor soiling internally. Very good. A view book of chromolithographic views along the path of the recently completed Union Pacific, beginning in Omaha and ending in Utah. The 12 plates are printed on heavy stock and several show the Indians.
