Lot of three magazines, "The Fatherland", 52 pages total, quarto, 1914-1915, New York. Published for "Germans and German-Americans" in English, this magazine seeks to bolster American support for Germany's cause during the opening days of the First World War. The articles slam Great Britain as the aggressor and plead for "fairness" towards a maligned Germany. Of great interest are instances within the magazine whereby the Irish demonstrate solidarity with the Germans. Illustrated with numerous advertisements. Stains, aging and some small splits as expected. Overall VG condition.
