Set of 72 stereo cards, 2 3/8" x 5", ca. 1940, Otto Schonstein, Munich, Germany. These glossy black and white stereo views document the German blitz through Belgium and France. Included are numerous shots of German soldiers in the field, Panzers, officers, prisoners, and even a long-distance shot of Hitler standing outside the famed railway car in which he accepted France's surrender. Included with the cards is a small metal stereo viewer manufactured especially for this set. An unusual example of Nazi propaganda. Fine condition.
