Broadside, 9” x 15,” set-up in 3 columns, prints the text of “An Act to provide for filling the Quota of Men required from this State for the Army and Navy of the United States ... a State bounty shall be paid to volunteers furnished from this State as in this act is provided. ... There shall be paid to such volunteer aforesaid a sum not exceeding the sum of $600, if he enlists for three years; $400 if he enlists for two years; and $300 if he enlists for one year.... this 11th day of February, 1865.” It is signed in type by NY Secretary of State Chauncey M. Depew.
