Autograph Sentiment Signed, "H. Manteuffel" in English, on his Visiting Card bearing his printed name and rank ("General Der Panzertruppe A.D."), July 1, 1969, 2.75" x 4.5," Diessen/Ammersee (Germany), Choice Extremely Fine. Inscribed in black ink above his printed name is the sentiment, "with best personal regards, yours," and signed below it, boldly, with a signature measuring 2.5" long. An exceptionally handsome piece. The Prussian career soldier Von Manteuffel was one of Hitler's best generals - and one whose advice at the Battle of the Bulge, not surprisingly, the Little Corporal declined to take.
