Signed "Rocktoberfest" poster with autographs of Rock/Rhythm & Blues singers, c. 2002, 17" x 11," Choice Extremely Fine. A nice variety of signatures collected by Freddie Brown, an original member of "The Drifters," featuring Carl Gardner of the Coasters ("Charlie Brown," "Yakety-Yak"), the Drifters--including Freddie Brown's signature ("Under the Boardwalk"), Big Bopper Jr., Frankie Ford ("Sea Cruise"), and others. The Rocktoberfest was organized by the City of Palm Springs, and featured local bands, rock n roll bands, and singers from the "rock" era. During the 1950s and 60s, rhythm & blues, rock & roll, doo-wop, and other pop sounds exploded onto the American scene and quickly swept around the globe. The songs of these performers still influence other artists and reach devoted audiences today. Here's your chance to own a piece of that history!
