FORD, Gerald (1913-2006) Thirty-eighth President 1974-77, distinguished Member of the House 1949-73, appointed Vice President following the resignation of Spiro Agnew, and became President in August, 1974 following President Nixon's resignation. Presented on matt board ready for framing are six Ford pieces. The most interesting is “House of Representatives” admission ticket, December 6, 1973 which is signed “Gerald Ford.” This was the day the House confirmed Ford as Vice President by a vote of 387 to 35. One hour after the confirmation vote in the House, Ford took the oath of office as Vice President of the United States. ... plus, a second “House of Representatives” admission ticket, January 15, 1875, Ford’s first Stae of the Union speech. ... plus, printing of that speech. ... plus (2) round campaign pins. ... plus, Presidential print of Ford.
