by the famous photographer D.F. Barry whose embossed stamp is on both the photo and the eloborate paper mat. Additionally, in small script and white ink “Barry Photo.” The vignetted image shows a seated Cody in full western attire, highly decorated coat, hat on his knee, knee high boots and holdinfg his cigar. The exposed oval image is 4-1/2’ x 7-1/2” with a 7-3/4” x 12-1/2” sealed mat. np., c 1895.
