Archive of 18 items pertaining to Enrico Caruso, ca. 1917-1920, various locations. Autograph Note Signed "Caruso", one page, 4" x 5", ca. 1920, with matching envelope addressed to "Mr. Sorrentino". The recipient of this customized Christmas card was a young tenor named Umberto Sorrentino who was living in New York City. Sorrentino figures prominently in this collection. Each card, although unsigned, carries a brief note of thanks or best regards in Caruso's hand...Plus; 3 Western Union Telegrams, each one page, octavo, from Caruso to Sorrentino...Plus; Two envelopes addressed to Sorrentino and three pieces of printed ephemera showing Sorrentino as drawn by Caruso. The telegrams, exhibiting chipped edges and splits, grade only Good condition. The other items are all in Fine to VF condition.
