Scrapbook, approximately 100 pages, quarto, ca. 1935. Compiled by a William Stickle of Poughkeepsie, New York, this collection contains newspaper and magazine clippings about literary topics and includes typed letters from various publishers thanking him for his interest in their books. VG condition...Plus; Guestbook, approximately 100 pages, oblong octavo, ca. 1930. Apparently the guestbook for a private residence, this volume has manuscript entries dating from the 1930's through the 1950's. Most of the guests appear to have been from the New York City area. One entry, dated April 10, 1944, is signed "Franklin D. Roosevelt" although it is certainly not his autograph and is most likely a prank. VG condition....Plus; Three signed glossy photos of lesser Hollywood personalities, ca. 1930's. Fine condition.
