GUTHRIE, WOODY (1912 - 1967) American song writer and musician, , considered the "Father of American Folk music", best known for his masterpiece, "This Land Is Your Land." Excessively rare D.S. 6" x 4 1/4" (folded), a fold-out postcard bearing about twenty colored photographs from various locations about Death Valley. The front cover bears an aerial view of part of Death Valley with a wagon train at bottom. Across the address area, Guthrie has written: "Woody Guthrie 3520 Mermaid Ave. Brooklyn, 24, N.Y." Light toning, near fine.
