Powder horn, 3 1/8" x 7 1/4", ca. late 19th century. Graceful lines and elegant carving almost lend an Art Deco look to the horn. One iron suspension loop remains intact whereas the other one has been replaced by a simple screw. A .22 caliber shell casing is being used effectively as a spout plug. Wear from use and an old patina. Very Good condition.
