c. 1885 "Miss Liberty" Patriotic Textile, Mint condition. 14.5" x 23," behind glass in a modern wooden frame to an overall size of 18" x 26.5." Not listed in the "Threads of History." Bright, clean colors greatly enhance this magnificent image of Lady Liberty standing on a broken ball and chain, posed with a red-white-and-blue shield, a large anchor, wheat stalks, a large beehive, stands of cotton and flowers, and a cornucopia filled with "1885 / UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" Liberty Head coins. Print textile is in marvelous condition, and is the first we've seen featuring these 1885 coins!
