Boxed board game, DANS LES AIRS, ca. 1910, France. This especially attractive antique board game is housed in a box measuring 2" x 13" x 18" with a lid having a color lithograph of an early airship flying over Paris. The board with unfolds to a massive 24 1/2" x 34" and is printed in full color with a course for the game pieces - dirigibles, of course - to race across. The game includes six small painted metal airships on stands, colored metal chips, and a pouch holding only one die. Playable today. The box and game pieces are well-preserved, however the board is split along one fold. Overall Fine condition.
