Boxed Game, OMBRO-CINEMA, 3 1/4" x 13 1/4" x 18", ca. 1920, France. Within the box is another box, the lid of which is printed to resemble a stage upon which is a large die-cut window simulating a movie screen. Under this (or behind it, if you prefer) is a scroll printed with silhouettes that when turned gives the viewer a motion picture. Literally. The lithographed box and interior id has two men flanking the screen, one of whom is certainly Charlie Chaplin. The boxes are strong and retain vibrant colors, however the screen appears to have some splits and is quite fragile. Overall Very Good condition.
